After 12 years at several of the largest and most renowned law firms in the southeast, including a stint as one of the youngest "big firm" department heads in state history, Pete Wellborn's entrepreneurial spirit got the best of him. On April 2, 2001 - his 37th birthday - he founded Wellborn & Wallace, LLC. Wellborn's vision for the Firm embodied the idea that attorney-client relationships should be based upon people, not institutions. His view is simple - that, especially in this age of automation and technology, it is the experience of the attorney, not the number of attorneys, that matters.
